PRODUCT DESCRIPTION for 16bit/24bit ∑-ΔADC-MS5192ET/MS5193ET:
The MS5192ET/MS5193ET is a 16bit/24bit ADC with low powerdissipation, low noise, three differential input channels. It integrates input buffer and low-noise instrumentation amplifier. When the gain is set to 64 and the update rate is 4.17Hz, the root mean square noise is 25nV. The MS5192ET/MS5193ET integrates internal band gap reference featured by high-precision, low noise and low drift. It can also use external differential reference voltage. The programmable excitation current source, burnout current source and bias voltage generator are also integrated. The bias voltage generator can set the channel common-mode voltage to 0.5×AVDD.
The chip uses an external clock or internal clock, and the output data rate can be set from 4.17Hz to 470Hz by register settings. The power supply ranges from 2.7V to 5.25V. The MS5192ET/MS5193ETis available in TSSOP16 package.The packaging pin spacing is only 0.65mm, which has advantages such as small size and high integration, greatly reducing the size space of customer application products.

Taking thermocouple temperature measurement as an example, the voltage measurement value generated by it has a certain proportional relationship with the absolute reference voltage value. The thermocouple signal is amplified by the MS5192ET/MS5193ET (∑ - Δ ADC) internal instrument amplifier, and the weak electrical signal is then eliminated from external noise through a buffer. External thermistors are used for cold junction compensation, with excitation provided by an on-chip excitation current source and common mode voltage provided by a bias voltage generator, enabling thermocouple ratio measurement.
The analog-to-digital conversion function of MS5192ET/MS5193ET is provided by a ∑ - Δ structure ADC, which has strong anti noise interference ability and also has the advantages of low cost and high resolution. It is the best choice for industrial measurement and process control applications. The AD7792/AD7793, compatible with ADI, is used for industrial temperature measurement and precision measurement.
