JYM49178 High-Precision Open-Loop Hall-Effect Current Sensor IC | 0-100A Isolated Current Sensing Solution
The JYM49178 series is an open-loop Hall-effect current sensor IC offering high precision, wide bandwidth, fast response, excellent linearity, and low temperature drift. The chip provides a 0-100A current sensing range with an internal differential Hall structure that effectively rejects external stray magnetic fields. JYM49178 delivers a new solution for high-performance current sensing applications.
This high-performance single-ended output linear current sensor accurately measures both AC and DC currents and is widely used in industrial, consumer, and communication equipment. The integrated dynamic offset cancellation circuit ensures sensor sensitivity remains unaffected by external mechanical stress and IC package stress. Available in SOIC-10 package with an operating temperature range of -40℃ to 125℃, fully RoHS compliant.

Functional Block Diagram

The chip integrates a differential Hall sensing element, dynamic offset cancellation circuitry, signal conditioning amplifiers, and an output driver stage. The magnetic field generated by current flowing through the low-impedance primary conductor is sensed by the differential Hall element, amplified, and output as a voltage proportional to the current at VOUT.
Typical Application Circuit

Standard application: Connect a 0.1μF decoupling capacitor between VCC and GND; place a 1nF capacitor at the VREF pin; VOUT can be directly connected to an ADC for sampling; primary current flows in through IP+ and out through IP-. Recommended output load resistance RL ≥ 4.7kΩ, reference load resistance RLREF ≥ 10kΩ.
