DW9714V is a new generation linear VCM voice coil motor driver IC released by DONGWOON ANATECH, specially developed for camera module auto-focus systems. It shares fully identical pinout with DW9714A, supporting direct upgrade without PCB redesign. Integrated with high-precision 10-bit DAC, the chip delivers up to 120mA driving current to meet the thrust demand of long-range, high-load telephoto VCM actuators.
Adopting exclusive patented SAC™ intelligent vibration damping algorithm, it significantly reduces mechanical resonance at the start and end of focusing, shortens lens settling time and eliminates motion blur during photo shooting and video recording. It supports low-voltage startup at 2.3V up to 4.3V full battery voltage, perfectly matching portable devices powered by single-cell lithium batteries. The standard I2C serial bus supports maximum 1MHz high-speed communication, integrated POR power-on reset and ultra-low-power PD shutdown mode with standby current below 1μA to extend battery life of portable devices. Housed in ultra-miniature 6-bump WLCSP wafer-level package for compact camera module design.
